Ready for the New Year

As cliche as it may be i have started working out in this new year and i am hoping to shed some of this baby weight. I have been dropping the “hint” that all i wanted for Christmas this year was a gym membership and Santa (aka Hubby) got me a membership to the Rush and a big box full of Kid RObot toys to boot…
So needless to say i was very happy with my Christmas presents and i think Beau was too ( I got him an accordion). My daughter Juniper got a to many presents and this year her favorite by far were these things called Funkeys they are cool little toys you can hook-up to your computer and play games with she got 3 for Christmas and because her and my husband are now obsessed with them they are up to 8 in total. Now i have to vie for computer time between Beau and Juniper.
Now to get back to my original  topic i started working out  two days after Christmas. I have mostly been going at night when there are less people.  I am really enjoying it i have only gone about five times but i am already starting to feel better. Tonight was a particularly good night i didn’t even want to go to the gym but i kinda forced myself because i have a limited membership and i can only go a few nights a week. I started out feeling kinda sluggish but after the first 45mins i got really energetic an i worked out longer than i planned to. I got kinda euphoric on the way home because i was listening to Sigur Ros and i felt better physically than i have in a long time, i was so energetic when i got home i worked out some more. I am so looking forward to going again tomorrow :)
